On Healthcare Blogging Summit

Trusted.MD has a brief round-up of the recently concluded Healthcare Blogging Summit (Spring Conference in Las Vegas).

According to Dmitriy M. Kruglyak, CEO of Trusted. MD:

...it is becoming crystal clear from the presentations, questions and discussions that what we are talking about is much greater than blogging itself. Of course the term "social media" comes up often to describe different formats of people's expression on the Internet.

But the consenus seems to be that the real question is going beyond the "media" aspects and examining the ultimate impact of these technologies on people's health and care delivery.

The next one will be in Chicago on September 17-18.
