OmegaBaby: New Omega-3 Product for Expectant Moms
Filed in archive Dietary Supplements and Vitamins , Pregnancy & Child Birth , Women's Health on January 8, 2009
There is a a new product created to help expectant and new moms get the Omega-3s they need without the fishy aftertaste that makes fish oil hard to swallow. DHA is a critical building block for a baby's brain, eye and central nervous system from conception, but it is difficult for today's pregnant women to get the recommended daily dose through diet alone. In addition to benefiting brain development in babies, omega-3 and high levels of DHA have been shown to improve the mother's health, potentially reducing the risk of preeclampsia and postpartum depression.
Coromega is preparing to launch a brand new product called OmegaBaby. OmegaBaby is a squeezable supplement that provides the daily 300mg of DHA recommended by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for pregnant and lactating women, and it is easy on a pregnant woman's sensitive stomach.
The uniquely emulsified OmegaBaby offers essential omega-3 fatty acids in a delicious and easy-to-digest formula. Each serving for pregnant and lactating women provides the daily 300mg of DHA recommended by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Coromega OmegaBaby comes in boxes of 30 peach-flavored convenient squeeze packets, making them perfect for the purse, briefcase or backpack and completely eliminating the fish oil flavor associated with other supplements.
