Milestone Scientific Inc.'s CompuFloâ„¢ Computer Controlled Infusion Pump, Received USFDA 510(k) Premarket Notification

The developer, manufacturer and marketer of "intelligent" computer controlled local anesthetic delivery systems, Milestone Scientific, Inc., has last week been granted USFDA 510(k) Premarket Notification acceptance for the marketing and sale of its CompuFloâ„¢ Computer Controlled Infusion Pump.

Utilizing pressure feedback data to monitor and regulate the delivery to patients of local anesthesia, medications and other fluids, the CompuFloâ„¢ Computer Controlled Infusion Pump will serve as the foundation for the development of significant new medical and dental devices at Milestone Scientific Inc.
