that breaks down fat cells in specific areas of the body. [Small amounts of lecithin, a soybean extract (commonly used as an emulsifying agent in chocolate bars), are injected into unwanted areas of at, such as the tummy, love handles, double chins and saddle bags. The fat cells then dissolve and the body's natural cleansing system metabolizes and eliminates the waste products out of the patient's system.]
First developed in France in the 1950s, mesotherapy has turned increasingly popular in the US in recent years. (I bet in the Philippines as well!)
According to Charles E. Crutchfield III, MD, of Crutchfield Dermatology and associate professor of dermatology at the University of Minnesota Medical School:
"It's important for anyone considering this procedure to consult a qualified, trained, board-certified dermatologist. The FDA has not officially approved this treatment but it's currently under investigation.
I employ this formula on unwanted areas of fat, especially those that have not responded to diet and exercise. A modified version of the Mesotherapy technique can also be used to smooth out cellulite."
That been read, I'm starting to lean into approving of the procedure. But beautification is not cheap, especially that they don't usually attach the cost whenever they state what such procedures can do.
I'd probably faint upon asking the price, enough not to have it done on me. But then that's just me and I'll be happy just knowing that lipodissolve seems like a better option to those who can afford it.
