The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) has launched its Healthy Heart Handbook for Women, 20th Anniversary Edition - one of the key educational materials for The Heart Truth, NHLBI's national campaign for women about heart disease.

The said handbook contains the latest information on the prevention and control of the risk factors of heart disease - the number 1 killer of women.

This special 20th anniversary edition features a welcome letter from First Lady Laura Bush, The Heart Truth's ambassador.

The Healthy Heart Handbook for Women, 20th Anniversary Edition (a pdf file) can be downloaded online while print copies are offered at special promotional pricing in honor of Mother's Day through May 31, 2007.
