February 2, 2007: National Wear Red Day
Filed in archive Miscellany , News on January 22, 2007
I've always loved the color red and I feel best when I am wearing a red shirt, blouse or dress.
On February 2, 2007, wearing red takes on a new meaning as you would be joining the National Wear Red Day campaign for women's heart disease awareness.
[National Wear Red Day promotes the symbol and provides an opportunity for everyone to unite in this life-saving awareness movement by showing off a favorite red dress, shirt, or tie, or Red Dress Pin.]
On February 2, join the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; Office on Women's Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; WomenHeart: the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease; American Heart Association; and many other groups to promote National Wear Red Day in your local community.
