Both products are labelled as sexual enhancement products and as treatments for erectile dysfunction (ED).
Just recently, the FDA has issued a health risk alert urging consumers to stop buying and using True Man and Energy Max because they are illegal drug products containing potentially harmful, undeclared ingredients.
According to Steven Galson, M.D., MPH, director of the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research:
"These products threaten the health of the people using them because they contain undeclared chemicals that are similar to the active ingredients used in FDA-approved prescription drug products.
The risk is even more serious because consumers may not know that these ingredients can interact with medications and dangerously lower their blood pressure."
So guys, beware. Just consult your healthcare professional if you are suffering from ED. There is no use harming yourself more by taking illegal drugs just because you are afraid (or ashamed even!) to tell anybody know that you have the condition.
