Sunday, May 3rd was The first day of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Drinking Water Week. Where are you getting your recommended eight glasses of water every day?

According to the EPA, bottled water is "much more expensive, per gallon, than tap water." In fact, according to Tappening.com, you could spend up to $1,400 dollars annually if you choose to get your recommended eight glasses of water a day from bottled water. The same amount of tap water would cost around 49 cents.

Filtrete Under Sink Water Filtration Systems from 3M serve as an alternative to bottled water and help reduce sand, soil, rust and sediments, as well as chlorine taste and odor from your tap water. They are quick and easy to install, and unlike pitchers and tap attachments, they utilize your existing faucet and maintain full flow. The long-lasting Filtrete replacement filters last up to six months, filter up to 2,000 gallons and can be replaced with just a twist of the wrist... no tools needed!

For additional information, please visit www.Filtrete.com. In first world countries where tap water is clean and safe, I don't see the need in opting for bottled water. However, in third world countries, it is a very different story.
