Engaging Men in Prostate Cancer conversation: ESPN Zone and Stand up to Cancer event
College basketball's top analyst Dick Vitale and award-winning sports columnist Michael Wilbon have teamed up with The V Foundation®, ESPN and Stand Up To CancerTM in an effort to create a national conversation about the ignored reality of prostate cancer and to help men understand the ways and importance of managing prostate cancer risk.

Did you know that one in six men will develop prostate cancer? To help men and their loved ones realize the reality of prostate cancer and the interruption it has on many men's lives, Vitale and Wilbon are hosting an educational town hall event at New York City's ESPNZone on Thursday, December 4, 2008.

ESPN Zone

Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008

1472 Broadway (at 42nd Street), New York

The event will be similar in format to ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption," featuring various sports and prostate cancer-relevant topics in an effort to engage men in a conversation about their health through a format they are comfortable with - sports. Free food and drinks will also be available for all attendees. You can also watch or listen to the event online.

Below is an invitation to the Life: Interrupted town hall event. If you are interested in attending the event and/or speaking with Vitale, Wilbon and/or Dr. Stephen Kaplan, one of the nation's leading urologists who will also be on the panel with Vitale and Wilbon, please feel free to contact Kiira Gustafson Cohn & Wolfe | 292 Madison Avenue, 10th Floor | New York, NY 10017 | USA tel: 212 798 9740 fax: 212 329 9900.
