Consumer Alert: Kroger Mustard or Southern-Style Potato Salad, Positive for E.coli

If you have purchased the kroger brand Mustard or Southern-Style potato salad with a "Best If Used By" date of Sept. 5, 2007, please do not consume them because they may contain E. coli O157:H7 - a foodborne pathogen.
Such were the warning recently released by Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) Director Robert Boggs in conjunction with The Kroger Co.

While there are no illnesses reported on this product's consumption, The Kroger Co. has removed the product from sale and is encouraging consumers to return it to the store for a full refund.
