Clearblue® Easy Fertility Monitor Significantly Increase Chances of Conception
When trying to get pregnant, these two are critical: accurately pinpointing the fertile period and intercourse timing.

As previously known, healthy couples only have a 25% chance of conceiving each month (1) while it takes an average 6-18 months to get pregnant(2).

However, according to new research, one at-home fertility predictor in particular can significantly improve the odds of a quicker conception.

Manufactured and marketed by Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc., Clearblue® Easy Fertility Monitor has been shown to dramatically increase a woman's chance of conception over two cycles of use (3).

Findings revealed that approximately 23% of women who took part in the research using the Monitor (3) became pregnant during the first two cycles of use, compared with 14% of the women who were not using the Monitor (3).

This indicates that over a third more women conceived using the Clearblue(R) Easy Fertility Monitor. Additionally, product feedback was overwhelmingly positive with 90% of participants agreeing that the Fertility Monitor was easy to use.

[The Clearblue® Easy Fertility Monitor is a personal computer that monitors the two key fertility hormones, Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Estrogen (E3G), to prospectively identify six fertile days.

Traditional ovulation predictors only identify two fertile days, and other conception methods (e.g. basallinks Body, Salivary Ferning), monitor the effects of changing hormones and not the hormone levels themselves.]

Laboratory tests have shown that the monitor is 99% accurate at detecting the LH surge - an ovulation signal. Clearblue® Easy Fertility Monitor is designed to adapt to the individual and stores up to six cycles worth of history to build a complete picture of the woman's most fertile days.

Study results are being published in the February issue of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine's publication - Fertility & Sterility.
