In the US, the FDA has an Updated Health Information Advisory on Melamine Contamination:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is alerting consumers that seven Mr. Brown instant coffee and milk tea products are being recalled by the Taiwanese company, King Car Food Industrial Co. Ltd., due to possible contamination with melamine. King Car Food Industrial Co. used a non-dairy creamer manufactured by Shandong Duqing Inc., China, which was found to be contaminated with melamine. The recalled products are:
- Mr. Brown Mandheling Blend Instant Coffee (3-in-1)
- Mr. Brown Arabica Instant Coffee (3-in-1)
- Mr. Brown Blue Mountain Blend Instant Coffee (3-in-1)
- Mr. Brown Caramel Macchiato Instant Coffee (3-in-1)
- Mr. Brown French Vanilla Instant Coffee (3-in-1)
- Mr. Brown Mandhling Blend instant Coffee (2-in-1)
- Mr. Brown Milk Tea (3-in-1)
In the Philippines on the other hand, lab test results on some milk brands from China (affected by melamine) are yet to be released.
The Health department expects the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) to come out with the initial results of its tests on milk products from China middle of this week.
Health Undersecretary Alexander Padilla said Sunday the BFAD aims to test up to 200 products a day once its testing procedures go full blast.
"If I'm not mistaken, the BFAD will come out with its initial findings Wednesday, then follow it up regularly. Once the testing starts, the BFAD will test an average of 100 to 200 products a day."
Good thing I'm always been dubious of China-made food products. What about you? I say better not buy anything made in China, especially food products. Just to be on the safer side.

Milk-derived ingredients include whole milk powder, non-fat milk powder, whey powder, lactose powder, and casein.
In addition to state and local governments, the FDA is working in close cooperation with Customs and Border Protection within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, other federal agencies, and foreign governments.

Well it now appears China has moved into the pet supplement market. There seems to be a tie in with Nutramax, maker of cosequin.

The KFDA also said that it had also found melamine in two packs of Misarang Custard with expiration dates that are different from the dates on the products first found to be contaminated with melamine. The KFDA banned a total of 304 Chinese-made food products from being sold or distributed, saying an inspection is underway......
