My favorite cruciferous veggie - broccoli - has already been linked to various health benefits. It is already known to have anti-cancer properties and benefits against diabetes as well.
Now Johns Hopkins Medical School study revealed that broccoli may promote lung health.
New research from the Johns Hopkins Medical School in the US suggests that broccoli could help people with chronic Lung disease.
The latest study focused on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which is considered to be the fourth leading cause of death in the US, affecting some 16m Americans.
Findings appear in the second issue for September of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
