The Company has been ranked seventh on FORTUNE magazine's annual list, making Amedisys, Inc. the only home health nursing company on the list.
According to William F. Borne, Chief Executive Officer of Amedisys, Inc.:

This is great news. I am an avid follower of Amedisys and I believe it is well positioned to take advantage of an industry that will grow rapidly over the next few years. Americans are not getting any younger, and Amedisys holds an edge over its competition with its high margins and cash flow and trivial debt.
