Welcome. My name is Kevin Pho and I'm an internal medicine physician practicing in the United States. I work mainly in an outpatient clinic, but can also be found doing emergency room shifts and inpatient hospital work.

As a doctor who "tells it like it is", I have been blogging about health and medicine since 2004, running the popular Kevin, M.D. - Medical Weblog. My work has been featured in various publications, including the British Medical Journal, MD Net Guide, Modern Physician, and The Nashua Telegraph.

Medicine is a dynamic field, with new studies, medications, and tests coming out daily. With a slant towards patient information, this blog will give a physician's opinion on the sometimes baffling array of news and health information.
